USATT INTRODUCES NEW RATING ACCESS SUBSCRIPTION
Non-USATT Members Can Gain Access to the USATT Rating System and Individual Rating Display for Twelve Month Period with Newly Implemented Subscription Program
January 27, 2020, Colorado Springs, CO – USA Table Tennis announced today the introduction of a new Rating Access Subscription.
Effective February 1, 2020, access to the USATT Rating System and Individual Rating display for both Tournaments and Leagues will only be available to current USATT members and, for a twelve-month period, to players who participate in a USATT Sanctioned Tournament on a Tournament Pass or who sign up for the new Rating Access Subscription.
The twelve-month Rating Access Subscription will cost $25 and, beginning February 1, will be available for purchase through an individual’s USATT on-line profile portal.
The new Ratings Access Subscription will have no effect on current USATT members and their benefits.
All players who have participated in a USATT Sanctioned Tournament on a Tournament Pass since January 1, 2020, will continue to have access to the USATT Rating System for one year from the date of that tournament.
In preparation for tournament play, USATT Tournament Directors will still have full access to the rating history for all persons who have previously played in a USATT Sanctioned Tournament.
The new Rating Access Subscription is part of an effort by USATT to prioritize services for current members and active tournament participants. This effort includes an on-going project to upgrade all USATT web-based services, which will include the reduction of duplicate entries in the tournament and ratings systems and the integration of critical dates for completion of the SafeSport Tutorial and required Background Checks.
We are looking forward to offering many new features to serve our members and clubs to greater benefit the table tennis community.

League Championships Point Standings (after 2 events)
Experior League Championships will be held on April 18, 2018.
TOP 16 players with the highest points will qualify for the Experior League Championships final and will play double elimination 41 Point Handicap Event.
Players will earn points when participating in weekly league events (Friday or Saturday League)
All league participating players will be eligible to advance to league Final and win cash prizes.
Every league participant will receive 10 points for participating in the league event.
For winning any match in a league event player will receive 2 points.
For match default, the player will lose 5 points.
For withdrawal, the day of the tournament player will lose 5 points.
For no show, no call 10 points will be deducted.
The 41-Point Handicap Event is a fun, new and exciting format that gives everyone a chance to win the “Experior League Champion Title”, even if they’re playing against far more experienced players. In essence, the event attempts to put every player, regardless of skill level, on an even playing field by giving a lower-rated player a set handicap when going up against a higher rated player. For example, under this format, a very young or inexperienced player with a rating under 1300 could go up against an elite level player with a ranking of over 2300. In this scenario, the elite level would spot the sub-1,300 rated player 33 points in a game to 41. For event seeding Experior Club rating will be used.
Cash Prizes:
1st Place – $250
2nd Place – $150
3rd Place – $125
4th Place – $75
Due to the unique nature of this event, inexperienced players will get the chance to see what it’s like to play against the best, and will still have a chance to challenge them, despite the range in skill!
Here is the Handicap Chart:
